We worked with new client Rosa’s Thai to assist them with a new design direction to be implemented in their new and some existing stores. The new design we created for Rosa’s was inspired by the blend of styles and rich colours found in Thailand.
Rosa’s Thai wanted to elevate their existing restaurant interior in Cardiff, differing to neighbouring competition. Rosa’s also wanted to create a new feel and space in their basement level to encourage more use of this space. To achieve this we used two very different palettes to create a unique environment in each level.
We completely re-planned the layout to help break up the spaces and introduced new screens to create pockets of seating whilst maintaining flexibility. We retained the key architectural finishes from the original design as a nod to its origins and introduced new colours to further zone the space and act as a backdrop to the new artwork overlay.
