we were appointed on this project to transform the flightcrew area at london heathrow into an environment which matched virgin atlantic’s customer experiences and environments. the flight crew area dealt with a multitude of different functions from pilot briefing and route planning to human resources, staff check-in and lounges.

following a site visit and discussions with our client we produced a variety of conceptual ideas in the form of plans and sketches relating to the practical needs of the staff and reflecting virgin’s dynamic image. by re-planning the areas we made the space work harder and by introducing bold and playful elements we proposed a refreshing and exciting working environment for virgin staff.

we presented to and liaised with many of virgin atlantic’s senior executives to produce an inspiring scheme that received sign off and capitol funding.
